Probably Italian, mid-century, the figure's facial features finely painted and also her the folds and creases of her clothing. Signed lower right,''Fr Casadei, 1957''. My own research on this artist perhaps a priest?
Was unfruitful - for further research and investigation. I n good condition with one small old restoration point upper left and h oused in a good contemporary gilt frame , ready to hang. Approximate image dimensions are: 32'' x 26 1/2'' (81cm x 67cm).
