RARE LARGE ANDO SIGNED WIRELESS (MUSEN) JAPANESE CLOISONNE VASE - EXCELLENT +++. Nice example from one of Japan's most highly respected artists. Mark on the base is hard to see in photos but definitely that of Ando wired in base.
Most of the pieces of this era were simply green. This one is unique with various colors makes this one special. Designed with iris flowers and leaves. Normal wear to base rim with some tarnish to top chrome rim. Size is 8 1/2 tall. An exceptional vase with rare coloring for this era. Ando quality speaks for itself. Solid vase with thick enamel. Simply an outstanding vase by one of Japan's most respected cloisonne artists. These don't come up that often in this fine condition. Please see photos as an integral part of this description.
