Fantastic PORTRAIT-OF-A-SIOUX-actually signed James-Bama not in the plate but an actual Signature. Limited-Edition-Print 1979 #923/1500 in original gallery framing with the stickers from Bama on the reverse. Frank Sotonoma Salsedo, a Klamath Indian, is a journalist and a movie actor. The location is a Crow Indian reservation and Frank was asked to ride in their annual parade. While he was filming a movie with Raquel Welch, portraying an aging Sioux warrior named Many Scalps, I asked if I could photograph him for as a model for a painting.
Nicely framed with a burlap matte and solid wood frame. Bright colors and NO damage issues whatsoever.
