LARGE Wemyss Ware Pig in Red Clover Signed Joseph Nekola
Gorgeous large Wemyss Pig painted with lots of flowering red Clover. What makes it special is the JN painters initials for Joseph Nekola who was active from 1930 until his death in 1952. Therefore, this is a pre-1952 Wemyss when the pottery was in Bovey Tracey, Devon. These are highly sought after and it doesn't get much better than this.
This delightful pig is in excellent condition with no damage. He has been well loved over the years and needs a new loving home. L 11 1/2" w 5 1/2".
