A very rare and elegant vase from the exclusive and famous glass series "Splendid" from the Moser glassworks in Karlsbad by Ludwig Moser. The vase was created around 1911 when the "Splendid" series was created, which achieved its popularity in the 1940s.When the President of the Czech Republic donated glasses from this series to Queen Elizabeth II of England in 1947. The glasses, decanters, jugs and vases in this series have been popular at royal courts and high society in Europe since then. The presented vase with an elegant form, intricately cut and beautifully etched with a gilded border, additionally decorated with colored enamel, is the largest of the series of vases. The rarity is that it was made in the first period when the series was launched by Moser. It has the original signature of Ludwig Moser - an engraved monogram tied in the base next to the signature of the steelworks. Very good condition, abrasions of the gilding inside the filler.
