Large Antique Royal Doulton hand painted sheep vase, signed by J. HANCOCK, C1910

This listing is for a large antique Royal Doulton hand painted twin handled vase depicting 3 sheep grazing in a field on one side and two sheep on the other side. It is signed by master Doulton artist JOSEPH HANCOCK.

Decorated with gold gilding on the base, scalloped rim and inside and the twin handles. The vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. To be accurate there is a tiny fleck of gold gilding missing on the rim but does not affect visual impact of the vase. It is marked on the bottom with the green doulton stamp for c1910 as well as a printed name that looks like "Kasybic". It measures 8 1/4 inches tall x 5 1/2 inches handle to handle and weighs 1 lb 5 oz.
