Large antique French enamel plaque in its original bronze frame. This pretty and large antique enamel plaque, is ALL hand painted, depicting 4 persons in a conversation, in an interior scene. The high quality of the enamel work is well shown in the multiple colors applied in the drawing.

The dresses, carpet, table cloth, sword and the light coming across the window. It is a museum piece. Also the original bronze ormolu frame, in the Louis 15 style, add luxury and elegance to the piece. It is a heavy bronze casting frame , NOT pressed.

Bosco D après Munkaesy (as I can read it), (as shown in photos). I put the frame into pieces, to clean it and show you the quality of the work.

Very, very, very tiny chip at the top left of the enamel (as shown in photos), cant see it when the plaque is inside the frame. Please see photos carefully to admire the beauty of the work. H : 5 inches (12.5 cm).

Lack of the back support of the frame (as shown in photos). No chips, cracks or any damage to the enamel plaque (except what I mentioned). No dents or damage to the frame (except what I mentioned).
