Large Antique Enamel Plaque/ Jeweled Bronze Frame/ Signed/ France 1860/ 8 1/2

A large antique miniature of Marie Antoinette, enamel on copper, in jeweled bronze frame. This museum quality enamel work plaque, depicting Marie Antoinette holding flowers in a landscape background. Signed lower right " Marchaison " D après Vigée Le Brun. The silvered jeweled bronze frame is also a museum quality, with several colors stones (blue, red, green and yellow).

Nothing missing from the stones. It is an easel frame. H : 8 1/2 inches (21 cm). W : 6 inches (15.5 cm). This is an old small crack to the enamel at the lower right.

On the dress next to the signature (as shown in photos). Also a very tiny scratch under her necklace (as shown in photos). I put the frame into pieces to clean it and to show you the quality of the work. Please see photos carefully to admire the beauty of the work.
