Antique Art Deco Bronze Sculpture Tern In Flight Two Tone & Verdigris. For Sale we are delighted to present this beautiful Antique Art Deco Signed Solid Tone Patterned Bronze Sculpture of a Tern in flight over Verdigris coloured ocean waves seated on a black onyx - Mable base, signed & stamped to rear of the ocean wave RENETI Bronze. This hot cast Bronze (not resin) form of a Tern is two tone patented in brown & gilt bronze variegated from body to wing & the lower is Verdigris coloured bronze to represent the ocean waves circa 1920 to 1930 & is evocative of the Art Deco bronze sculptures of the era flowing in form at angles to display tone & shape.
Condition is very fine for age with no repairs & no damages or breaks light wear marks hardly at all noticeable as photos show, one tiny nibble to bottom edge of marble filled and coloured almost invisible in mm size.
