Antique Signed JEFFORDS Pottery Yellow Ware Blue White Banded 12.5 Mixing Bowl
This listing is for an Old Vintage Mid 19th Century American Yellowware Large 12.5" W x 5.5" T Pattern Mixing Bowl by J. It is marked on bottom with Jefford's Diamond Shaped Ink Stamp which reads "WARRANTED FIRE PRROF" with other letters and numbers (photo 6). It has a banded blue and white slip decoration. 3 Blue bands and 6 white bands. It is in very good used antique condition overall with no cracks, hairlines, or repairs.
There is a chip to the base edge (photo 15). A shallow chip and some small glaze flakes to top rim (photos 16 and 17).
Some small chips to slip bands (photos 18-21). It is well used and shows signs of wear / staining inside (the dark diagonal line inside is not a crack or damage, just a stain).
Could use a good cleaning. (White spots in photos are glare / lighting, not actually on the item). Please view photos carefully as they are my main description.
It is very big, thick, and heavy weighing just under 4.5 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed. UPS is usually the cheapest for big and heavy packages.
