ANTIQUE OIL on CANVAS Signed MORELLI SHORELINE LANDSCAPE w FIGURES ORIGINAL
Signed, on lower left, this Airy Landscape/Lakescape w/ Figures. It is an Original Oil on Canvas from the late 19th/early 20th C. Two Women, wearing 1800's style working clothing and headscarves, chat by a large boulder that sits beside a placid lake. In the distance hazy mountains loom. Warm, Natural color palette used and enhanced by relatively thick paint application.
The signature, on lower left, is difficult to read. We can't make it out but it is definitely signed. 3 Wide Antiqued Gold, Carved corner and mid panel decoration, Vintage Scoop frame, is not included in this listing. It is in poor condition, but if desired, we can include it at no extra cost. Canvas measures 20 X 25 and is in Very Good to Excellent Antique condition.
Outside measure of the frame is 25 1/2 X 29 and is in Poor Vintage condition w/ a very flaky finish. Please carefully examine all images for condition.
