Antique Japanese Signed Meiji Bronze Lrg Sculpted Fierce Walking Tiger? Stunning
On offer we have an Antique Meiji period large sculpted bronze signed figural. This art piece is superb in every way. The realism executed in this fiercely walking tiger is fabulous, head to toe, including it's underside. This large tiger has a fabulous naturally aged, untouched patina.
It's been displayed in our family estate the past 80+ years. Dating to 1920 -40 & signed, this superb art piece was inherited by my father from his father, having traveled abroad serving in the U. Features all original aged patina, untouched. This fiercely faced lion has led a fairly tame life on our piano the past 50+ years; we have not attempted any cleaning to preserve patina.
