Up for sale is this antique Japanese Meiji period Kutani porcelain large vase with exceptionally painted detail throughout. We see many birds flying and resting and gorgeous peony rose flowers in various states of bloom. There are gilt gold accents that really enhance the piece. It is signed on the base and dates to the mid-to-late 19th C Meiji period. Measures 12" inches tall and 6.2" inches wide (30.5 cm, 15.7 cm). In excellent condition with no cracks, chips or losses to the porcelain. Some minor paint wear loss to the rim edge but no damage - just surface paint / gilding worn off on the edge slightly. Would make a fantastic display piece, fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!
