Offered is a wonderful antiques jacquard coverlet. Colored, multi-patterned homespun dates to the mid to late 1800s. The coverlet colors are turkey red, indigo, purple and linen. It has images of butterflies, birds, grapes, leaves and vines and more. The two bottom corner panels are signed.
He was born in Germany in 1802. Measures 74 x 74 plus 2 fringe on one edge.
It is in good condition for its age with some wear and imperfections commensurate with age. Please look closely at the photos.
