Antique French Still life oils on canvas Fruits & Jam Pot 19th century signed

Antique French oils on stretched canvas painting of a still life (or Nature morte- as the French say) composition of a French farmhouse table full of summer fruits-Strawberries overflowing in a wirework basket, Plums, over ripe figs, apricots and plums- The copper jam pot ready to create some wonderful jellies and jams with fruits that are ripe and plentiful -The painting is signed lower right and dates we believe from the latter quarter of the 19th century. This is a fine quality oil painting that is in fine condition for the age - there is no apparent restoration - the colours are defined and clear - it is painted with an accomplished hand and eye.

It is unframed - canvas on a wooden stretcher as we found. Condition- Good antique condition, There is no damage or paint loss to the painting, no fading - the colours are strong. Should you have any questions we are here to help.
