Antique Color Lithograph, Girl + Hens & Geese, Franz Czizek, Ilse Breit, Austria

This rare 18.5" x 21.3" (47 x 54 cm) Austrian lithograph depicts a pastoral drama: a girl holding bread beset by hens and geese. It was made as part of Professor Franz Cizek's Juvenile Art Class in Vienna, Austria in the 1920s and 1930s. The artist Ilse (or Jsle) Breit was a student in the class. It does have some creases going vertically down the upper middle, shown most clearly in pic 4. Pics 10-15 show other small stains, bends, tears, and creases in the print. This print is antique, so it may show other signs of its age.

I do my best to document any flaws I observe. Envelope: sandwiched between sheets of acid-free paper, then sandwiched between sheets of cardboard, then placed in a sturdy cardboard envelope clearly labeled "ART PRINT - DO NOT BEND".
