Hello, you are viewing my Listing for an Antique Philip Suval Fine Arts Charles Hunt Painting or Print On Canvas showing a horse race between the Flying Dutchman and another horse. The name of this art is titled "The Great Match". This art is on canvas. I will let you decide. This artwork is framed with a glass front to the frame. This artwork with the frame weighs 18.2 pounds and measures 46 and 1/2" long by 25" tall by 2 thick.

The artwork by itself measures 43" long by 21 and 1/2" tall. The canvas does have some rips present that were repaired. They are on the right side facing the painting. I have shown them in my photographs. There is some minor wear present throughout however there are no other rips, tears, or repairs present.

The framing with the actual art is loose from the outer frame. There are some things to be noted on this Stunning artwork. There is a decal on the back of the frame that states "Philip Suval Fine Arts 823 Madison Ave New York".

There is also the decal present on the back of the wood frame that states "Adolphe Leccupy Paris". There are other words present on this decal which I cannot decipher. Finally on the bottom of the wood frame there is wording attached on paper to the frame that states "The Great Match" as well as "The Flying Dutchman". There are numerous other words and dates present which I cannot decipher however I have shown them in my photographs. They appear to be written in Old English. This is a RARE piece of art that is a must have addition for the serious collector of Horse Memorabilia and Horse artwork. Please view all my photographs for further details.
