Great signed original c1930's The Crest Co. Chicago gilt bronze standing floor lamp with winged griffin, paw feet and acanthus foliate base. The detail is fine and the design makes a statement as expected. The lamp is signed "CREST" in several places around the base. The gilt finish is in very good condition with minimal wear. The lamp is in very good original condition with a couple areas of damage; due to the weight of the articulating socket holder the hollow arm has bent and has a split at the bendit will need to be repaired, also there are two areas on the base where the beading has been bent(see last two photos), the cord was split so I clipped it and will need rewiring, otherwise a great lamp ready for an important shade, no holes, no tears, no touch-ups or repairs. (please view all photos for the best representation of quality and condition). The items I list are primarily antique or vintage, and may have some minor flaws.

I try to mention all damage or wear to the best of my ability; but I don't hold these pieces to the same standard as I would if they were new. Good vintage condition means the piece is in the condition consistent with it's age.
